Experiment description
This experiment shows how ice changes state when heated. Ice is first heated in a beaker and melts into water. On further heating, the water reaches 100 C, starts boiling, and changes into steam. As boiling continues, the water level decreases until the beaker becomes empty. When heating stops, the beaker cools back to room temperature.
