Experiment description
In this experiment, hot water kept in a copper container is allowed to cool down. Its temperature falls quickly at first because it is much hotter than the surrounding air. As the water gets closer to room temperature, it loses heat more slowly. This shows Newton's Law of Cooling: a hotter object cools faster when the temperature difference is greater
