Experiment description
In this experiment, we are going to observe mud water under a microscope. The aim is to identify tiny living microorganisms present in moist soil. When soil is mixed with water and left to settle, the lighter organisms remain suspended in the water. A drop of this water on a slide reveals moving protozoa, green algae, and tiny bacterial dots, proving that moist soil is teeming with life!
