This simulation shows the pumping action of the human heart and how blood circulates through it. It illustrates the flow of blood through the four chambers-atria and ventricles-and shows how valves ensure one-way movement. It also explains how oxygenated and deoxygenated blood are transported between the heart, lungs, and the rest of the body.
