Experiment description
In this experiment, two similar pots are used to show that plants release water vapour through transpiration. One pot contains a plant and the other contains a stick of the same height. The soil is covered to prevent evaporation, and both setups are covered with plastic sheets and placed in sunlight. Water droplets appear inside the sheet covering the plant, showing that the leaves release water vapour.
