Experiment description
In this experiment, we determine the volume of various shapes by measuring the amount of water required to fill them completely. This process allows us to understand the internal capacity of a container and observe how three dimensional space is occupied. By using a graduated cylinder to measure the liquid, we can verify the mathematical formulas for volume through practical observation. For solid objects, we can also use the displacement method, where the volume of water pushed aside by the object represents its own total volume.
