Average speed and velocity (Distance & Displacement)

In this experiment, a car moves along a path and users can observe both distance and displacement during its motion. Distance represents the total length of the path travelled, while displacement represents the straight-line change in position from the starting point to the ending point in a particular direction. Using the measured time, the experiment explains average speed as total distance divided by total time and average velocity as displacement divided by total time, showing how speed depends only on distance but velocity depends on both distance and direction.
