Experiment description
In this experiment, we are going to test different salt solutions using pH paper. We will dissolve salts like sodium chloride, potassium nitrate, aluminium chloride, zinc sulphate, copper sulphate, sodium acetate, sodium carbonate, and sodium hydrogencarbonate in distilled water. Then we will observe the pH paper colour change to identify whether each salt solution is acidic, basic, or neutral. This experiment helps us understand that salts formed from different acids and bases show different pH values.
