Air Expands on heating (Mini hot air balloon) (Charles' law)

Air Expands on heating (Mini hot air balloon) (Charles' law)

Experiment description

This experiment demonstrates that air expands on heating, based on Charles' law. When air is heated by a candle, it becomes warm, expands, and rises upward. As the warm air rises, it pushes the lightweight object upward, showing that heated air is lighter and sets up convection in air.
