Tyndall Effect (Colloidal Solution)

Tyndall Effect (Colloidal Solution)

Experiment description

This experiment demonstrates the Tyndall effect in a colloidal solution. Milk, sodium sulphate solution, and distilled water are taken and light is passed through them. Milk scatters the light and shows the Tyndall effect because it is a colloid, while sodium sulphate solution and distilled water do not scatter light because they are true solutions.
